Software Engineering Manager to lead and manage a team of software engineers to  grow portfolio of applications on our cloud-based SaaS platform called Manufacturo.

You have:

Technical skills:

  • Understanding of software engineering principles, concepts, and best practices 
  • Proficiency in programming in C# and .NET 
  • Experience in database design and knowledge of SQL 
  • Experience in a microservices architecture 
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field. 

Leadership skills:

  • Experience as Software Engineering Lead or Manager. 
  • Ability to lead a team of software engineers in the delivery of high-quality solutions, set and achieve goals, and inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best. 
  • Ability to mentor the team members, develop their skills, advance their careers, and achieve their full potential.  
  • Ability to understand the business context and priorities of the organization and align software development efforts accordingly. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders. 
  • Good command of the English language, both speaking and writing. 

You will get extra points if you have:

  • Experience in Azure or other cloud providers. 
  • Previous experience in CI/CD. 
  • Previous experience in Kubernetes 
  • Practical experience with complex business systems (such as
  • Enterprise Resource Planning or Manufacturing Execution Systems). 

What you’ll be working on 

You won’t be working on your own - each project is assigned its own SCRUM team consisting of senior and junior developers, both frontend and backend, DevOps engineers, product managers, UX/UI designers and software testers.  

Our software is used by companies like Sierrea Space, Relativity Space, Mynaric, and many others…  

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Managing and leading a team of 5-10 software engineers and providing them with technical guidance and mentorship. 
  • Following the latest technological trends and determining how they can be integrated into current projects. 
  • Organizing training sessions or workshops to enhance the skills of the team. 
  • Reviewing code and architectural decisions to maintain quality and consistency. 
  • Ensuring that best practices are followed in terms of coding standards, documentation, and testing. 
  • Communicating with stakeholders, including upper management or clients, to provide updates and gather feedback. 
  • Allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines. 
  • Collaborating with other engineering teams and departments to ensure the successful delivery and integration of software components. 
  • Identifying potential risks in projects and implementing strategies to mitigate them. 
  • Participating in the recruitment and taking care of retention of software engineering talent. 
  • Working on coding tasks to keep technical skills sharp and stay up to date with the codebase. 

Our tech stack

  • Our frontend is built in micro-frontend architecture, using the latest Angular. We write our end-to-end and integration tests in Cypress.
  • Our backend consists of several microservices written in .net core running in the Kubernetes cluster hosted in Azure. We use Azure SQL and Azure Blob Storage for data persistency.
  • For testing and deploying our code, we use CI/CD pipelines maintained in Azure DevOps.
  • We also have our own Angular Component Library.
