Manufacturo and Pixxel Partner to Modernise Satellite Production and Traceability

The partnership will support Pixxel’s production of its hyperspectral satellite constellation with a modern MES foundation to drive quality and traceability.

Manufacturo, a next-generation manufacturing management system for complex production environments, has been selected by space technology company Pixxel to support the build and scale of its hyperspectral imaging satellite constellation. The implementation enables Pixxel to move away from disconnected spreadsheets and manual processes, creating a foundation for high-quality, traceable, and production-ready workflows.

Pixxel, which recently launched its first commercial satellites, uses proprietary hyperspectral sensors to collect data across hundreds of spectral bands, enabling applications ranging from climate monitoring to precision agriculture. Pixxel is using Manufacturo to streamline and standardize its build process to meet increasing demand and uphold rigorous production standards.

Quote - “Pixxel is pioneering a bold new standard for satellite intelligence — and that demands an equally advanced approach to production. Their choice to move off spreadsheets and fragmented systems is a strategic one, and we’re proud to be building alongside them. With Manufacturo, they can orchestrate production with precision, connect digital threads across locations, and maintain full auditability as they scale globally.”

Pixxel’s engineering and production teams began with a structured pilot program, including a dedicated sandbox environment and hands-on training, before fully transitioning to Manufacturo’s platform in April 2025. The implementation spans production and quality operations at Pixxel’s facility in India, with potential integration into SAP and future expansion plans.
