We're looking for a proactive, driven Business Development Manager to identify or create new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. This role requires a mix of sales, marketing insight, and startup hustle. This is a cross-functional, contributor-level role ideal for someone with strong analytical thinking, market insight, and a passion for building from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align on GTM strategy and execution
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, white space, and new opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo)
  • Work closely with marketing to align on messaging, campaigns, and lead nurturing
  • Assess and prioritize inbound partnership or collaboration inquiries
  • Attend industry events and represent the company in external engagements (virtual or in-person)

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles and value-based selling
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently and take initiative
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
  • Familiarity with discrete manufacturing
