Do you want to work with former SpaceX experts and learn about the space industry?
Are you looking for a fast-paced environment where decisions are made swiftly, and your voice is heard?
Do you want to work on projects that have a significant impact on the world?
Manufacturo powers operations for companies building satellites, fusion reactors, next-generation aircraft, and hypersonic vehicles. Companies such as Hermeus, Relativity Space, and Sierra Space rely on our platform to run complex manufacturing operations with greater control, traceability, and speed.
We are a SaaS company building software for some of the most advanced industrial programs in the world. The work we do has real-world impact, and the systems we support are complex, fast-moving, and mission-critical for our customers.
We are hiring a Test Engineer to join our product engineering organization and help us improve the quality, reliability, and stability of Manufacturo. This is a role for someone with testing experience who enjoys understanding complex systems, working with data and APIs, and combining thoughtful manual testing with practical automation.
The Role
As a Mid Test Engineer at Manufacturo, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other testers to validate new features, identify risks early, and make sure our platform behaves reliably across complex business workflows.
This is a hands-on testing role with real ownership. You will be expected to take a feature or larger change, understand the business flow, identify risks, plan how to test it, verify behavior through UI, API, and data, and help the team decide what should be automated.
You will split your time between manual testing and test automation. We expect you to be comfortable exploring product behavior, asking precise questions, working with APIs and databases, and contributing to automated tests where they bring real value.
This role is a good fit for someone who can work independently, challenge unclear requirements, and help the team think about quality before development is finished — not only at the end.
You should be comfortable working in a high-change environment where priorities can evolve, context changes quickly, and teams need to keep delivering value without losing quality.
What you'll do
Take ownership of testing features and larger product changes from analysis through release
Understand complex workflows across production, planning, inventory, and shopfloor operations
Identify quality risks, edge cases, data dependencies, and gaps in expected behavior early in the process
Work with developers and product owners to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and testability
Use SQL to verify business outcomes, investigate issues, and understand how workflows affect data
Test REST/HTTP APIs, including payload validation, status codes, error handling, permissions, and edge cases
Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using TypeScript
Analyze automated test failures to distinguish real product issues from test instability, and help decide what's worth automating versus covering manually
Report bugs with strong technical context, including reproduction steps, test data, logs, screenshots, API payloads, and database observations where relevant
Use AI tools to accelerate test design, automation, debugging, investigation, and daily productivity
Required skills & experience
2+ years of experience in software testing, QA, test engineering, or a similar role
Experience testing web applications, SaaS products, ERP, MES, logistics, manufacturing, or other workflow-heavy systems
Solid understanding of testing principles — exploratory testing, regression testing, and clear bug reporting
Good SQL skills — ability to join tables, verify data, investigate issues, and reason about data changes caused by user actions
Practical experience testing REST/HTTP APIs, including payloads, status codes, authentication/authorization basics, and error scenarios
Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, with practical experience creating, maintaining, or debugging automated tests
Ability to plan testing for a feature based on requirements, product behavior, business logic, and technical risks — and to challenge unclear requirements by asking precise questions about expected behavior
Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, or similar for learning, testing, or coding
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for work tracking and bug reporting
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests fit into delivery flow
Experience working with production, manufacturing, logistics, ERP, MES, warehouse, or shopfloor systems
Genuine interest in space, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or complex industrial systems
Our tech stack
Backend: .NET, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server / Azure SQL
Frontend: Angular, micro-frontend architecture, our own Angular Component Library
Testing: manual testing, API testing, test automation, Cypress
APIs: REST/HTTP
Cloud: Azure

Observability: OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack
AI tooling: Cursor and Codex, and other modern AI-assisted development tools
What you’ll get in return
Work on software used by some of the most innovative manufacturing companies in the world
Our testers work closely with developers from day one - not as a separate entity but as active participants in how features are designed and delivered
Real learning opportunities in SQL, API testing, automation, cloud-based SaaS systems, and AI-assisted work
Space to influence how we test, what we automate, and how we improve quality within the team
Opportunity to grow through hands-on work with complex product workflows, data, APIs, and automation
Hybrid working with three days in our Kraków office, comprehensive healthcare including life insurance, and a Multisport Card.
