Position Overview
We are seeking a SaaS Implementation Consultant to lead customer implementations of our advanced manufacturing platform. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their digital transformation journey by analyzing business requirements, designing tailored solutions, and delivering successful MES implementations. You will serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through go-live and optimization. This is an ideal opportunity for an manufacturing consultant with strong technical expertise and a passion for transforming manufacturing operations through innovative technology solutions.
Key Focus Areas:
- Lead end-to-end MES implementation projects from discovery through production deployment
- Conduct business process analysis and gap assessments to design optimal manufacturing solutions
- Configure and customize the MES platform to meet specific customer requirements
- Design integration architectures connecting MES with ERP, quality, and equipment systems
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solution designs
- Provide expert guidance on manufacturing best practices and Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Delivering training and knowledge transfer to ensure successful customer adoption
- Collaborate with product teams to influence platform roadmap based on customer needs
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Customer Success Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Experience troubleshooting software systems, preferably in SaaS/cloud environments.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
- Technical Tools:
- IDE: VS Code, Cursor or similar
- Service management tools: Jira Service Management or similar platforms.
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with the following technologies is a plus:
- C#/.NET
- Angular/JavaScript
- Python (nice to have)
- MS SQL
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience implementing manufacturing systems is a plus
- Experience designing and implementing real-time data synchronization between MES and ERP systems:
- REST development and consumption
- JSON/XML data handling and transformation
- Authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, SAML)
- ERP System Knowledge:
- NetSuite (SuiteScript, RESTlets, saved searches)
- SAP (BAPI, RFC, IDoc knowledge preferred) is a plus
- General ERP concepts: inventory, purchasing, financials
- Master data management principles
- Problem solving and analysis:
- Root cause analysis for integration failures
- Data quality assessment and cleansing strategies
- Knowledge of SaaS architecture, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and microservices.
